What Is An Android And How Is It Used
An Android device could either be in the form of a mobile phone or a tablet. Android devices are made and run by Google Search, Inc. and are made to be fully customizable devices compared to what is offered today.
Benefits of Android devices are touch screens, Wi-Fi capabilities, Android App market, and more. Not all Android devices are running on the same version of Android. For example, some Android devices being offered today are run on Android 2.1, some are running on 2.2, and some are running on 2.3. Check the specs of the Android you either have or you are considering buying to find out which version the device is running.
You can use your Android device for a multitude of things like messaging, e-mail, video viewing, games, and social networking. Another great feature that a lot of Androids have is GPS navigation. Even if you don’t have GPS navigation prepackaged on your Android device, you can always check out the Android App Market to see if there’s one you’d like to download. A lot of the apps offered through the Android App Market are free so you don’t have to make any purchases. Likewise, some of them do cost money so if you want to purchase and app that costs money, either have your credit card ready or expect to see a charge on your wireless carrier’s next bill. You can see your prepackaged and downloaded apps in your menu, or “app drawer”.
As I mentioned before, Android devices are very customizable and allow you to change things like wallpaper, ring tones, photos, and how your home screens are arranged. Most Android devices allow you to even change how many home screens you have displayed. Google’s Android devices are designed with your imagination and creativity in mind!
